Trenton T. Metzner

Trenton Metzner is a dedicated attorney at Wallace Mann Capener Bishop & Debney, P.C., with a focus on Workers’ Compensation Defense. His journey into law was inspired by his innate debate skills and a lifelong passion for helping people, which was further reinforced during his undergraduate studies at the University of Oregon. Trenton holds a Bachelor of Science in History with a Minor in Business Administration and earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law.

Trenton’s legal career began at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law Fair Housing Legal Clinic, where he managed case preparation and client interactions, ensuring thorough fact-gathering and assessment for fair housing cases during the COVID pandemic. He further honed his skills as a Law Clerk at Hernandez & Associates, LLC, where he supported litigation efforts through drafting key legal documents and conducting in-depth research.

Trenton’s background in business administration and his exposure to various facets of the legal field have equipped him with a well-rounded skill set, enabling him to navigate the complexities of workers’ compensation law effectively.

Outside of his legal practice, Trenton enjoys spending quality time with his wife, a nurse, as they share a love for watching sports. They are avid fans of the Seattle Mariners, attending games a couple of times a year, and also enjoy catching minor league baseball games with the Hillsboro Hops. Trenton is very close to his family and often collaborates with his sister, brother, and mechanic father on various car restoration projects, including a 1978 Chevy Silverado, a 1969 Camaro, and his own Subaru WRX. Whether working on cars or tackling house projects, Trenton cherishes the time spent with his family, reflecting his strong commitment to both his professional and personal life.
