Overview
Neil M. Connolly
Businesses are the lifeblood of our community. As such, my goal in each workers’ compensation matter is to ensure that every side is well-represented, protecting the interests of hard-working business owners and injured workers while seeking to significantly minimize company liability and costly delays.
Neil M. Connolly has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 2013. He began his legal career in Peoria, Illinois as a family law attorney. There he worked hard to successfully litigate and negotiate divorce, child custody, child support, and order of protection cases to positive resolution. He brought his successes to the Chicagoland area, where he found additional positive outcomes as a family law attorney and expanded his legal expertise into other areas of practice, including criminal law, civil litigation, and workers’ compensation defense.
Before joining Wallace, Mann, Capener, Bishop & Debney, P.C., Neil defended a wide range of commercial clients in high-value civil lawsuits involving complex construction defect defense and personal injury defense. Neil later joined another firm where he focused on subrogation, working to resolve claims through negotiation, default judgments, and traditional and inter-company insurance arbitration.
Desiring to further support and broaden his impact on Washington and Oregon employers, Neil joined the WKMCB workers’ compensation defense team. With nearly a decade of experience as a litigator and trial lawyer, Neil has the proven ability to untangle complex laws and facts, develop pragmatic legal strategies to meet clients’ objectives, and efficiently and cost-effectively resolve challenging workers’ compensation matters.
As an avid outdoor enthusiast, Neil enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and mountaineering when he is not zealously advocating for the rights of Oregon and Washington businesses.
